On February 14, SPOTV News reported that Bomin is confirmed to star in JTBC’s new drama “18 Again” (literal title). Bomin’s agency Woollim Entertainment clarified, “[The production team] saw Bomin’s previous dramas well, and they gratefully made an offer, so he has received the script. He is positively reviewing the offer.”
“18 Again” is the newest project of PD (producing director) Ha Byung Hoon who directed KBS2’s “The Sound of Heart” and “Go Back Couple.” This will be his first project since transferring to JTBC.
If Bomin accepts the role, he will be playing Serim High School’s model student Seo Ji Ho. Although his appearance and actions seem cold on the outside, he is actually a character with a pure heart.
After making his acting debut through his role as the mysterious transfer student Ryu Joo Ha in “A-TEEN 2,” Bomin received praise for his stable acting skills in tvN’s “Melting Me Softly.” Currently, he is promoting actively for Golden Child’s repackage album “Without You” and through his MC position for KBS2’s “Music Bank.”
Back in December, it was first revealed that Kim Ha Neul and Lee Do Hyun are in talks for the leading roles of “18 Again.” Currently, Lee Mi Do and Yoon Sang Hyun are also in talks to star in the drama.
